Boy? Girl? What? Huh?

Girls.

And boys. And everyone else:

Go to Victoria’s Secret. Buy yourself some sexy little things. Get a bra and panties or something. Get something that expresses YOU. (I got black and white stripes, to match my punk glasses.) Dress up at home in said things. Put on your headphones. Put on some music that makes you want to dance. Dance. Dance forever. Don’t just believe you are sexy, KNOW it. No matter whether you’re a 32A or a 42D, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Know it. Own it.

And once you own it, no one, no boss, no bully, no ex, no one, NO ONE can take that away from you.

I don’t know. Maybe VS objectifies women. Whatever. I say, if the body is a temple, what’s wrong with a little stained glass? (Quote courtesy of someguywhodraws.) Dress up. Be beautiful. More importantly, FEEL beautiful. If VS isn’t your thing, get punky jeans and a tee from Hot Topic or wherever. Dress in what makes you feel beautiful. Know your beauty. Acknowledge your beauty. Believe in your beauty. Own your beauty.

And the world can tear you down all it wants - believe me, I work retail and the world tears me down every day - but they can never, NEVER take away your beauty and your faith in yourself.

You are beautiful. I don’t care what you look like, how you dress, what you do, who you do, what you identify as…when you are fully yourself, you are beautiful.

I believe in you.

Believe in yourself.
